I also played basketball and ran track, as well as, cross country from 1976-1980. I have lived in Washington, DC since graduation. It is always a treat to get a little glimpse of Albion; and who would have ever thought that we'd have such a great web page to call our home, while away from home. My family connections in Albion are quite extensive. They include the following past and present residents. And to hopefully recognize a name or two... so for anyone that may be doing the same I shall try to spark your recogniton of me and possibly my family... My Dad is David Koons, he was Pastor of Eaton St Baptist Church..(you know, the white church next to the dentist's office).. he also worked at Felpaush... my mom is Norma, and she mostly took care of my sister and me.. If you knew Gina Knight then you probably knew my sister, Missi. Those two were almost inseperable from the time Gina was in the Jr. High, until we moved to TN in '91. They still try to keep in touch. AND, now about me... I worked at McDonald's from '85 to '91. And like I said if you knew Gina and Missi, then you may remember a gold Cavalier affectionately known as "the Slut-Mobile"(a name given by jealous guys, who's older siblings wouldn't take them for rides in their cars.)Well... kids, I was that driver! Yeah, I was the boring older sister that was generous enough to take my little sister and all her friends to the Malls in Jackson and Battle Creek... What times we had.... Well I guess I will close for now... I hope that I have jarred your memories enough or at least entertained you in some small way... Hope to hear from Old friends and possibly make some new ones...
