SET UP DAY TWO FOR THE
ALBION FAMILY HEALTH CENTER

They really moved along today! This is about the 7th modular unit that was placed. It's getting hard to get a good photo due to the size of the structure. That's Albion Photographer Gordon Paul standing nearby taking the official photos of the event.

This is a view of Albion nearby that I like. Earlier we mentioned the old advertisements on the buildings that have been repainted. This is one that doesn't get seen as much as the more famous Coca-Cola sign. If you want to see that one, click here, but use your back button to return!

It's little things like that, and the brick streets, and the 17 public parks that make Albion such a special place.

Here are the people who did the work that we've featured in this tour. Straight Arrow, modular installation and project management. I didn't measure everything myself, but it looked like they were doing a pretty good job.

Start viewing Health Care Center set up back at 8:30 a.m. first day again.

New Release from Family Life Radio web site:

Albion Clinic Construction
(FLR)- The pieces that will make up the new Family Health Center in Albion will be put together Monday. A crane will be moving the eight modules onto the foundation downtown. Across the river, a tent with heaters, tables, and refreshments will be set up at Lloyd Park on East Cass Street to allow the public to watch the building construction. The Health Center is expected to open sometime next month. The Family Health Center follows months of planning after Trillium Hospital closed in January. In addition to routine health care needs, the Health Center will be able to provide urgent care, but not emergency room services.

See the Modular Units roll into town, Nov. 20, 2002.
