This project involved recreating a design for an Egyptian mummy case. The artist used crayons on construction paper. The various patterns in the clothing are quite detailed and appealing. The vertical lines in the hair make a striking diversion between the horizontal lines above and below. The feeling of this piece is haunting, but beautiful.
