The assignment for this unit was to create a design that resembled Medieval art. Some of the other pieces had gargoyles, stained glass windows, etc. This art was created using oil pastels, and glitter. Perhaps the glitter on the tree indicates that there was an ice storm, and the trees glittered with their ice covering. Or perhaps, this is one the of legendary trees made of diamonds, and the princess is inside the castle, ready to be escorted to a dance by a prince. It does seem to be an enchanted place, with an unusual color of sky and unusual clouds.
