Here is an "Andy Warhol" style painting. Warhol made famous the "variations on a theme" style of art work, one of the most famous being rows of cans of Campbell's soup. Quite often, the subject is an "icon," in this case, Marilyn Monroe. Thus, the familiar, becomes unfamiliar, and is at the same time strangely comforting.
