This texture painting also uses intermediate colors. This painting, when viewed horizontally, reminds one of bars of a jail. In a much different context, when viewed vertically, (as it was designed) the parallel lines become rungs of a ladder, and are much more inspiring. The other colors and strokes, while seemingly random, represent some thought and direction as to placement and shades. Look more closely, and you may see a patriotic theme, complete with fireworks. (Notice the starburst in the lower right hand corner, and near the top as well.)
