A humorous sculpture of the Statue of Liberty. We especially found the torch symbolism to be enlightening. This is a mixed media wood and paint sculpture. When contemplated, the crown and the lighter, along with the tiny book under the arm bring about the feelings that the original sculpture might elicit. The roadways seem to indicate that this sculpture is for all Americans, not just those who are able to view the harbor.
