Still Life - black and white
Although this piece of art is called a still life, it is so abstract it doesn't resemble a still life to this writer. It almost takes on the patterns of a piece of fabric. The intricacy and detail is quite impressive, and the imaginative use of patterns and fills also is pleasing. The eye tends to follow the curved lines near the top and moves over the entire area.
