Matisse Madness
The assignment here was to use the French artist Matisse as inspiration for a cutout project, using simple construction paper and glue. The projects offers us insights into the working methods and inspiration for the Matisse's bold and expressive two-dimensional collages and paper cutouts. Matisse began to use this style later in his life, when he was unable to create using traditional materials.
