CORNING GLASS 1954 BASKETBALL TEAM

Morning Star, June 13, 2010, pg. 3

A reminder: If your Albion High School class is having a reunion this summer, you might want to include my books “Albion in Review” or “Growing Up in Albion” as door prizes or for people to look at. Copies are available for sale at the Albion Chamber of Commerce next to Citizens Bank.

This week from our Historical Notebook we present a photograph of the Corning Glass Works 1954 basketball team. It was a part of the Albion City Industrial Basketball League. Front row, left to right: Doran Quigg, Junior Morgan, Joseph Romanchuk. Back Row: Hal Shaffer, Ray Simms, Harley Transue, Art Carney, and Bob Tanner.
